Thank you, everyone, for your well wishes! I am about 95% recovered from my illness and have been missing our challenge very much! It's been a rough 2 weeks being sick, but I am happy to report that I am well on my way to recovery.
.The scripture challenge will resume this week after its short delay - yay! Now, because this time of year many of us are away for summer vacations, I've decided to extend the July and August challenges to TWO WEEKS each so that we can all have a little more time to participate. We'll pick up on our regular weekly schedule in the Fall when school starts and we're all back in a normal routine again. That means that this next challenge will run until Saturday July 25th. For July and August we will be starting a new theme: FAITHFULNESS. This week's word art is almost ready to send out to you. I will post the details of the challenge a little later this afternoon. Keep checking back for updates - it's soooo good to be back again! ================================================ For the months of July and August our theme will be FAITHFULNESS. The scripture verse for Week 21 comes from Proverbs 3:3 which says: “Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.” ** Be sure to read the General Guidelines to the challenge HERE, where you can find out what will happen each week. It will tell you how you can take part, what you will be receiving, where to post your submissions to, etc. Here is a preview of your FREE Word Art for this week (the link to download the Word Art to use as part of your submission appears at the BOTTOM of this message): ![]() * The deadline for submitting your creation for THIS challenge is midnight EST on Saturday July 25th 2009.* Here is a sample layout I created with this week’s scripture verse (clicking on the image will take you to the layout in the gallery for a closer look). The Danglement photo cluster I used for this page is a FREE GIFT for you all in this month’s SBE Newsletter (make sure you are on the distribution list by signing up HERE ): ![]() As mentioned in the Guidelines, you will be receiving a beautiful 12x12 quick page each week for taking part in the challenges. This week’s posting gift was created especially for you by Denise (aka wererich):

Rina,
So glad you are feeling much better! I think it's a great idea to give us two weeks to work on each challenge during the remaining of the summer. I know I sure could use it. Hopefully it will make it a little easier on you to continue to feel better quickly if you don't have to labor so hard coming up with one of your beautiful word art creations each week too.Looking forward to what you have for us a little later. I'll be back later today to check what it is. God Bless. Jeanie |

So glad you are better. There is nothing more depressing than being under the weather. I have missed you.

I'm usually too dense to remember to stop and say thank you. I appreciate your talent and look forward to the scripture challenge each week. I, too, have been very very ill. I am just now starting to get a little better, after a surprise 14 day day in the hospital and then being told I am lucky to be alive. My recuperation will last many months and I am totally frustrated and have a great deal of pain from a nasty abcess on my arm.
So, Rina, I hope you can see how much this week's challenge means to me. In fact the scripture message in general that had helped me thru this and will continue to help me as I continue the journey. Thanks again, Oda Mae (Nancyp) Last edited by Oda Mae; 07-13-2009 at 06:09 AM. Reason: add word |

Is it absolutely forbidden to use anything on your page except scrapbook-elements purchased things - such as a ribbon or a flourish corner brush that I already have within photoshop elements 7. I would be using paper that I purchased from a kit from scrapbook-elements.
I love the fact that there is a Scripture Challenge. Thank you for doing this. |
