Okay, I have a question.......it's a nitzy thing that drives me crazy!
I am running XP Professional and I typically download my zip files and then unzip them to a specific directory. Most of the time, the items are in a separate directory under the directory to which I unzipped my files. When I look at the individual files they usually (but not always) display in the Filmstrip fashion (it's the default). I do a CTRL-A to select all the files and then I move them to the folder above it (the actual directory where things were unzipped). Often times (but not always), Windows XP automatically changes the view from Filmstrip to Tiles. I don't like that view since I can't "see" the picture, so I go up under the View menu and try to change it back to Filmstrip but Filmstrip is not an option. :( I usually change it to Thumbnail.
Okay, here's the real interesting thing. Now, if I do a Rename and change the name of the folder, and relook under my View menu, the Filmstrip option is once again available (not always but usually).
Is this a "drive me crazy" feature of XP Professional or something that I am doing??
Thanks for any tips you may have!
